The Story of Konyagi
Konyagi “The Spirit of Africa” is one of the oldest and most famous spirit brands in East Africa. It has been in existence for more than 50 years. This famous drink was first born in 1970 when Tanzania Distilleries Limited encouraged the distillers of local spirits to bring in their products to be distilled and transformed into a safe and clean drink. It has 35% Alcohol and is very strong but very smooth as you sip it down. Konyagi is the heritage of Tanzania for it has represented the culture, rhythm, and spirit of the Nation.
